Randomly picked and album today from my playlist and it happened to be Jeru the Damaja - Wrath of The Math. Honestly I had never listened to it before but after the first song I was sold. I knew the album was produced by DJ Premier but somehow I still had managed not to listen to it. I'll probably start listening to his other DJ Premier produced album, The Sun Rises In The East.

March 9th represents one of the saddest days in hip hop history. Brooklyn MC Biggie Smalls was murdered back in the 1997. He's definitely one of the biggest wasted talents in hip hop history. To quote a critic whose name I don't remember, Biggie's lyrics are so vivid that they leave you with a kodak moment in the end of the song. He's definitely one of the greatest rappers ever, if not the best. To remember him I'm going to be pumping his music the whole day.

Gucci Mane is coming home from prison next week so I decided to post you some STOOPID good music. Gucci is best known for his hit single "Icy" with Young Jeezy. Don't expect to hear a collabo from these two ever again since Gucci killed one of Jeezy's friends. The charges were dropped because they didn't have enough evidence. Let's hope he stays free.

My all time favorite producer DJ Premier hooked Blaq Poet up with a dope beat. For me Premo is the epitome of Hip hop. I love his work and he seems to be a humble guy. I've never heard a whack beat from him.
